Jimmy Lindsey (HEY! DON'T GIVE UP! ☀️ Creator) is a U.S. ARMY Veteran who served as a

Communications Specialist and Infantryman from 1988-2016. Jimmy served two combat tours in Iraq and one combat tour in Afghanistan. Some of Jimmy’s duty positions were Company and Troop First Sergeant, U.S. Army Drill Sergeant, U.S. Army Instructor and U.S. Army Recruiter. After retirement he worked as a contractor in Afghanistan and Kuwait.

My Mom passed from Breast Cancer in 2000. After her diagnosis she Never Gave Up! ☀️

I created HEY! DON’T GIVE UP! ☀️  in Honor of her!   To encourage, inspire, support, and bring Awareness to Breast Cancer and other health issues.

While deployed to Afghanistan, I was continuing to see the Suicide rate increase among Soldiers and Veterans, and I asked myself are we doing enough to support/encourage Soldiers and Veterans with issues they are dealing with or going through. Beside just the PowerPoint classes. So, the same message I created in honor of my mom, I decided to share and spread in support of Mental Health Awareness, Suicide Awareness, Stop Bullying and to encourage individuals not to give up on their dreams and goals. I created Black and Gold shirts and wristbands in support and with the mindset where individuals can see, hear, and share the message.

Also, in support of Mental Health Awareness, Suicide Awareness, Message for Soldiers, Veterans, and civilians not to give up on life. Stop Bullying and to encourage individuals not to give up on their dreams and goals. And to promote a healthy lifestyle and self-care.

HEY! DON'T GIVE UP! ☀️  A Simple Message! A Strong Message of Encouragement. A reminder for everyone to see and hear.
